Award distribution ceremony at the School of Information and Risk Management:
SIRM; The School of Information Risk Management is a private education provider registered with OfS. SIRM (SCHOOL OF INFORMATION RISK MANAGEMENT) is based in the Ilford Chamber Building in east London. It currently partners with the East Sussex College Group for various Higher Education courses approved by Pearson, City & Guilds and TQUK (Teaching Qualifications UK). The college’s vision is to foster the knowledge, confidence, and adaptability of their learners so that they become our future leaders, helping our economy grow and benefiting society. Our mission is ‘to transform life chances by unlocking potential, growing minds, and supporting success.’
The team at SIRM and the students are all immensely proud of their achievements. Learners completed their HN Business and DET (Dip in Education and Training) L5 programmes. The SIRM student services team along with the stakeholders organised an award distribution ceremony just recently. The learners were presented with their completion certificates in the presence of the SIRM Board, their faculty, and friends.
SIRM works to engage local communities to help encourage and support people to gain access to higher education. At the heart of our approach to teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) are our values, which are focused on creating a learning environment that sets high expectations, enhances academic achievement, and promotes personal development for students whilst equipping them with the resilience and wider knowledge, kills and behaviours. We see respect, honesty, and trust as central to the way that we work, we do what we say we will do. The blended learning classroom is popular amongst learners, giving them the flexibility and the facilitation that the learners need to compete with their work/placements and the classroom teaching.

We are proud of our learners that largely comprise of working professionals and adult learners, some even joining back into in the classroom after a break. We pride our specialised student services team and facilities that support our learners achieving their academic dreams. The team of professionals include trained, certified assessors; all of which have been on a professional development journey, all have a PGCE in Education with abundance of classroom and corporate experience.
